Book your port parking with ME

Do you hate paying premium prices for your port parking? If the answer is yes (and why would it not be??) then I am your solution! But only read on if you LOVE SAVING MONEY...

I can offer you direct port parking with a bit of a twist, and the best part is its on average about £40 cheaper for a 14 night sailing than the cruise lines port parking prices without any compromise on service or security. Perfect for all the P&O and Cunard cruises that didn't have any free parking on at the time you made your booking...
My parking is a "Meet and Greet" Service. You drive right up to the cruise terminal that your ship is departing from and we have a driver there waiting to greet you. They then in turn will take your car from you and park it up in a secured compound about 2 minutes from the port. This compound is a fully manned, 24 hour secured site so you can rest assured that your car is in very safe hands. Upon arrival back into your port after your wonderful cruise holiday you simple call the local number on your voucher about half an hour before you are due to disembark, perhaps whilst enjoying your final breakfast on board, then the parking company will disperse the driver and have them there waiting to greet you outside the terminal with your car ready for you to just drive away....You will be provided with a voucher for your car parking with full instructions on what you need to do along with the number you have to call.... it really is that simple! :)

Buying Big...get it right!

So the big day finally arrived, my brand new sofa was delivered last Saturday and its gorgeous! I have been waiting 8 long weeks for it to be delivered with lots of anticipation, will it be too big, have I picked the right colour, will I like it??

Buying a new sofa is very much one of the big purchase you have to make in life. You can spend anything from hundreds to thousands of pounds on it so it has to be the right one for you. But I am pleased to say it isn't too big, the colour is perfect and I love it :)

This got me thinking though, I book people's cruise holiday's every day and I probably take for granted just how "big" of a purchase this is for people.  You have to make sure you are chosing the right cruise for you and the needs of your party, the right ship, the right style and of course fitting it with your budget.

Last chance for your Free Parking!

Have you booked a Celebrity 2012 cruise between the dates of 12th December 2011 and the 31st January 2012, with Free Car Parking on board the Eclipse?



If yes then you need to book your parking or coach transfer before the 7TH FEBRUARY!!! Failure to do so will result in you being charged, there is no leeway with this unfortunately so if you miss it you miss out!

Snow disruption..has it affected you?

We have been fairly unscathed as far as this winter goes, very mild temperatures and hardly any rain or the dreaded snow...but low and behold that wintery white stuff made its first appearance over the weekend for a lot of the UK, my hometown of Redditch being one of them. Saturday afternoon saw the first specks which then developed rather heavily into the early evening giving about a 3 inch covering.



Unfortunately my car is not the greatest in this kind of weather, being rear wheel drive,
 so its very lucky that I only live about a 15 minute walk from work...so no excuses for me! With the snow fall, it did get me into thinking about passengers who choose to go away in the Winter time and the potential hazzards you may face if you do. I mean if I cant even get off my drive...

Let's face it, we would all love to just go away in January to the Caribbean for a bit of Winter sunshine but what happens when it snows and your flight is disrupted?  Well, generally if you have booked your cruise and flights as a package with the cruise line or if you have booked one of our Tailor Made pacakges then you will be covered for this. If you have packaged your own flights though then you could well be in trouble...if your flight is delayed or cancelled and you miss the cruise then unfortunately, unless you can claim through your travel insurance, you will lose the money you have paid for the cruise...

2 points to consider here when travelling in winter season with flights:
Make sure you have top travel insurance that covers you for as much as it can, such as the one we offer at cruise.co.uk. And, if you are considering booking your own flights, ask us for the package and fly out at very least the day before!
